The book is not so much concerned with the practical side of catching fish, but forms a detailed analysis of the state of the industry and the mechanics of its operation. Over a third of the book is devoted to a regional study of the fishing ports. A folding map displays the ports and their railway connections, and there are 77 photos of vessels, ports, etc. a good bright copy in the original decorative green cloth. 005 808
